Pablo Picasso has many paintings in the Norton Simon Museum. Woman seated helped develop his signature Cubism style. Woman with a Book (1932), one of Picasso’s most recognizable Cubist pieces is presented next to his straightforward pre-cubist oil-and-chalk-on-canvas Bust of a Woman (1923).
